Puppy scams are an all-too-common occurrence as of late, and unfortunately, more and more people are falling prey to these schemes every single day. Here at PetRelocation.com, we receive a minimum of 10 calls per day from people who are expecting to receive pups from some source or another - pups that sadly aren't coming because they simply don't exist. Below is a list of some helpful tips to help you identifiy a potential puppy scam:
A few weeks back we wrote a blog about the importance of your pet's microchip appearing on all of your pet's vaccination certificates and other vet paperwork; and it occurred to me that my dog's microchip probably had not been scanned since it was implanted when she was a puppy. At our recent vet visit Aussie was due for several booster vaccines and some blood work. In observance of Christmas, our Live Animal Desk in Chicago will be closed on December 25 and 26. It will re-open for business on Monday morning, December 29.
Further, the Live Animal Desk will be closed on New Year’s Day, January 1, and it will re-open for business on Friday, January 2.
